The Rose Garden

Creating is for the patient gardener. You might think of something great and then despair when you forget it without writing it down. But don't worry. Your creativity isn't like a rose, beautiful for a short time and then gone. Creativity is like a rose bush, or even a whole rose garden. The more you pick from it, cultivate it, and nurture it, the more there is. Maybe you won't ever remember the particular scene or song or picture you were thinking of, but that's ok. Keep creating and another will come to you, and another after that. Keep creating, and more roses will come.
