First Post, purpose of the blog

This seems like a terrible idea. I don't know why anyone would give me the opportunity to blather on about whatever I want. But this blog thing came with the website program and I'm gonna use it.

You can expect random thoughts that I find interesting to show up here. I feel like my thoughts are very wise and thought out. They're clear, easy to understand, easy to agree with. And if you're foodhardy enough to read these posts, you'll quickly figure out that I delude myself a great deal.

In addition to random thoughts, I might put some of the random scene ideas that have popped into my head, short stories, and maybe some of the angsty poetry I wrote in my teens and twenties. Enjoy!
